Operational Instructions

Step 1: Setup & Placement

• Choose a flat, stable surface for setup, preferably grass or pavement.
• Ensure the area is clear of obstacles and has enough space for spectators.
• Place the dunk tank near a water source for easy filling.

Step 2: Filling the Dunk Tank

• Use a hose to fill the tank with clean water until it reaches the designated water level.
• Allow enough time for the tank to fully fill before use (typically 30–45 minutes).
• Do not overfill to prevent splashing hazards.

Step 3: Selecting a Dunk Tank Participant Over the Age of 18

•  Only allow one person at a time on the seat.
•  The person being dunked should be at least 18 years old (or with parental supervision if younger).
•  Ensure the participant sits in the center of the seat

Step 4: Throwing Rules & Game Play

•  Stand behind the designated throwing line (usually 10–15 feet away).
•  Use the softballs provided to aim at the target.
•  Players get 3 chances per turn to hit the target and dunk the participant.
•  If the target is hit, the seat will automatically release and dunk the participant into the water!

Step 5: Safety Guidelines

• Only allow one person on the dunk tank seat at a time.
• No standing or jumping on the seat or inside the tank.
• Keep hands and feet away from the trigger mechanism.
• Do not use the dunk tank during high winds or thunderstorms.
• Drain the tank completely when finished and move it away from public areas.

Step 6: Drain the water from Dunk Tank to prepare for pickup from PTI Amusements

•  Drain the water away from crowded areas using the designated release valve.
•  Leave balls inside drained Dunk Tank so they are safe from going missing. Replacement Cost for Dunk Tanks Balls are expensive. 

 ATTENTION CUSTOMERS: Before using the dunk tank, the individual who will be sitting on the dunk seat (the dunkee) must sign a waiver acknowledging the risks and agreeing to safety guidelines.

A copy of the waiver will be provided to customers upon booking the rental. By email or in person on the day of delivery.
